In this session, I’ll share how I moved from hesitation and uncertainty about AI to confidently using it in my classroom. Like many educators, I worried about dependency and its impact on real learning—until a pivotal webinar shifted my perspective. From there, I began experimenting, gradually turning AI into a meaningful learning partner rather than just a convenience tool. I’ll share real examples of how students use AI to brainstorm, revise, problem-solve, and reflect while still thinking independently. I’ll also highlight practical strategies, including AI-friendly assignments, clear expectations, and ways to address challenges like academic integrity. You’ll leave with ready-to-use ideas and prompts to help students use AI as a tool for growth, not just answers.

Limited Capacity full
This session shows how to use AI to move from a big idea to a fully implemented learning experience, like escape rooms or project-based units, etc., without getting overwhelmed. We will walk through a practical process for turning big ideas into structured, aligned instruction, including pacing, differentiation, and assessment. This is not about replacing good teaching.  It’s about saving time and making high-quality, engaging learning experiences easier to design, implement, and repeat.
