About me
Kim is a school counselor with a Masters and Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Counseling. As an educator in the California public high school system since 1999, she enjoys partnering with parents and connecting with students. Her Bachelor of Arts and Secondary Credential in English allowed her to teach high school English for nine and a half years with a focus on teaching writing and American Literature. Since 2009, she has been working with California public high school students as a high school counselor. She specializes in major/career choice development, college list strategy, and understanding the financial/merit aid process. She is passionate about connecting students to opportunities for higher education and helping parents navigate the college admission system.
