About me
An Academic and Intervention Counselor at KHSD since 2008, Lydia previously served as a Spanish Teacher and holds a Master's degree along with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling. She is an alumna of The University of Texas at Austin, CSUB, and Point Loma University. Throughout her career, she has supported students at Shafter, Mira Monte, Foothill, and Arvin High Schools, dedicated to helping them reach their full academic, social, and personal potential. In addition to working with Foster Youth and McKinney Vento students, Lydia leads the YES! (Youth Empowerment, Success) Club on campus.
