Paty is a special education teacher with a Master’s Degree in Teaching and seven years of experience in the district. She currently serves as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA), where she supports educators in strengthening instructional practice, building meaningful relationships with students, and creating classroom environments rooted in trust, connection, and engagement. In this role, she works alongside teachers and administrators to expand their instructional strategies, take thoughtful risks, and implement innovative approaches that increase student participation and deepen learning.
She is also a co-creator of the widely attended “Igniting Engagement” professional development, designed to equip educators with practical, relationship-centered strategies to increase student energy, participation, and connection in the classroom.
