About me
I am an experienced High School Math Teacher with over 18 years of classroom teaching. Now, I am a Teacher on Special Assignment for the Kern High School District and a Lecturer in the Teacher Education Department at California State University, Bakersfield. I specialize in Classroom Management, Methods of Instruction, and Disciplinary Literacy. With a passion for preparing teachers for a career in education, I believe in helping new teachers find their identity to bring to the classroom as well as helping them to find ways to energize and inspire a new generation of lifelong learners. For fun, I have over 20 years of experience in dance. Bringing joy through movement in the classroom is a unique specialization that I love to share with my fellow educators.
